MF 5S – 105-145 HP The Best-in-Class Dairy and Livestock Tractor
The Massey Ferguson 5S range has a choice of five models each with the trademark steep-nose bonnet to give the best visibility possible. This new series gives you manoeuvrability, versatility and of course, efficiency.
Next Level of Comfort
Firstly, the 5S Series has a choice of widths; Essential, Essential Panoramic, Efficient or Exclusive. When you are working in the new 5S series you will immediately notice the comfort and the simple layout of the easy access cab. Noise levels are low at only 69dB while the overall layout means all the controls are close to hand. The new dashboard design allows you see the operating data easily as well as fuel and AdBlue consumption.
Cost-Effective Power
The entire Massey Ferguson 5S rage is powered by the new AGCO Power four cylinder, 4.4l, stage V engine to deliver a maximum power of 105hp-145hp. The new design of this engine ensures more power and torque with reduced fuel and Adblue requirements. Each model comes with an electronic wastegate turbocharger improves functionality while reducing emissions.
Best-in-Class Tractor-Loader Combination
Massey’s 5S Series are designed specifically to work with the Massey Ferguson FL Series loaders. This can be fitted to your new 5S for delivery to enable the best performance. All the 5S Series tractors come with a choice of three different multi-function joysticks that allow you to manage the loader hydraulics and transmission at the same time while still being able to remain in control of your machine’s steering wheel.
Working Faster with the Widest Implements
There is a choice of hydraulic systems which can deliver flowrates from 58 to 110 litres/min from the open-centre or load-sensing systems. The front linkage system has been redesigned and can lift up to 3,000kg while the rear linkage can lift up to 6,000kg. Also new to the 5S Series is the suspended front axles which increases comfort and improves the turning radius. Finally, Speedsteer enables you to turn easier and faster (4m radius) headland turns.
