Welding & Cutting Solutions from Scot Agri

At Scot Agri we are proud to offer a comprehensive fabricator service tailored to meet the ever-changing needs of the agricultural sector. Based at our Glenrothes depot, whether you require a repair to a vital piece of equipment or have a custom fabrication project in mind our experienced Fabricators are here to help.

The team utilise several techniques including MIG welding, TIG welding, stick welding and plasma cutting.

MIG Welding – Efficiency & Strength

MIG Welding (Metal Inert Gas) is a highly efficient method of welding where a continuous wire feed comes through the welding gun and is mixed with inert gas which protects the weld pool from contamination. This method is best suited to projects where speed is required without any compromise on weld integrity.

TIG Welding – Precision and Aesthetics

TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to create the weld, while filler material is applied separately, this allows for greater control of the welding process. TIG welding is ideal for projects where detail and finish are the greatest priority.

Stick Welding – Versatility & Reliability

Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) more commonly known as Stick welding involves an electric current that flows through a consumable electrode rod to form the weld. This method is suited to a wide range of conditions including indoor jobs and produces a durable and effective weld.

Plasma Cutting – Precision & Adaptability

By channelling an electric arc through a constricted gas stream, the gas is transformed into plasma which can melt metal quickly and accurately. This technology is mostly used where precise, clean, and accurate cuts are required on complex fabrication projects.

Whatever your fabrication needs are, our highly trained and experienced team will be more than happy to help.
