Rakes at Scot Agri
The Massey Ferguson Rake range has a wide variety of models available. From single rotor rakes with working widths of 3.6m, to large multi-rotor rakes with working widths of up to 14m, there is a product to suit every need. Rotors are also available for side or central delivery when selecting multi-rotor options.
Rake Head
Massey Ferguson has designed the rake head to be enclosed to protect key components against dust and dirt which helps improve the longevity of the machine. The Rake Head has been engineered with robust composite materials while the drive unit and housing for the tine arm are made from proven modern aluminium alloys, for a strong yet lightweight rake.
Rake Connection
Massey Ferguson has designed the connection for the rake head with a conical bolted ring to ensure the strength and surability of the rake. The tine arms can be replaced individually without the need to dismantle the whole unit which savesvaluable maintenance time and increases productivity over the lifetime of your rake.
Steerguard
Steerguard is the Massey Ferguson-designed steering system, which provides precise steering in all weather and ground conditions. This aids in protecting the machine against any damage. It has been created with only two pivot points, which ensures safety and maintenance are consistent throughout the machine’s lifetime.
Ground Adaptation
The suspension system used in Massey Ferguson RK Series rakes allows the unit to adapt to changes in ground incline, which means that divots can still be recovered without any potential damage or the need for excessive alterations to the unit angle.

Frequently Asked Questions
Massey Ferguson rakes are designed to deliver clean, even swaths that help maximise forage quality and efficiency during baling or forage harvesting. They provide gentle crop handling, excellent ground following, and consistent swath formation even in uneven fields. MF rakes are built with strong frames, reliable driveline components, and low maintenance requirements, which make them ideal for livestock, mixed, and grassland farms.
Scot Agri supplies new Massey Ferguson rakes, however, we also stock used rakes from a variety of manufacturers within our used machinery range. Speak to your local depot to determine which rake would be best for you.
Yes. Scot Agri supplies Massey Ferguson single rotor rakes, which are ideal for smaller farms, paddocks, and operators who need a simple and reliable rake for hay and silage work. These include the MF RK 341 DN through to the MF RK 451 DN. Single rotor models offer excellent manoeuvrability and produce clean, consistent swaths for round balers or forage equipment.
Yes. Scot Agri supplies Massey Ferguson dual rotor (or two-rotor) rakes designed for higher output and wider working widths. These models are suited to medium and large farms that need increased productivity and well-formed swaths for efficient baling. Dual rotor rakes provide greater capacity, smoother crop flow, and excellent ground contouring. Scot Agri supplies the entire two rotor rake range from Massey Ferguson from the MF 702 TR-SDX to MF RK 1002 TRC PRO Gen2. We can also supply four rotor rakes, including the MF RK 1254 TRC Gen2 to the MF RK 1404 TRC PRO.
Yes. Scot Agri stocks both new and used rakes. Our new rakes are manufactured by Massey Ferguson; however, we regularly stock quality used rakes from other manufacturers.
A rake is used in agriculture to gather cut grass, hay, or straw into neat swaths ready for baling or collection. By forming uniform rows, a rake improves drying times, increases baling efficiency, and helps maintain forage quality. Modern rakes such as those from Massey Ferguson, are designed to handle the crop gently to reduce leaf loss and preserve valuable nutrients.
