The JCB LiveLink Asset Tag is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) tracking solution designed to help business monitor attachments, accessories, and non-powered assets from one integrated platform.

Fully connected to the JCB LiveLink system, Asset Tag provides increased visibility, improved asset utilisation, and greater operational control across agricultural environments.

Using advanced Bluetooth 5.0 technology, Asset Tag allows you to track assets of any size, function, or brand – helping reduce lost equipment and improve fleet efficiency.

How Does It Work?

The Asset Tag can be fitted quickly and easily using bolts or adhesive, with no wiring required. For best performance, JCB recommends fitting the device to the upper quarter of the asset. Mechanical fixing is recommended for external use.

1.     Bluetooth Signal Transmission

The Asset Tag transmits an encrypted Bluetooth signal every 10 seconds, with up to 800m line-of-sight range.

2.     Connected Mesh Network Detection

Nearby enabled devices – including LiveLink-enables machines and connected partner devices – detect the signal and securely report the encrypted location data. The detecting device does not need to belong to your business, helping maximise connectivity and coverage.

3.     LiveLink Location Reporting

The location data is securely transferred to the JCB LiveLink platform, allowing users to view the Asset Tag’s last known location alongside machine and fleet data.
