Available through Scot Agri as an authorised JCB dealer, JCB Machine Care Comprehensive Cover helps safeguard your investment and manage long-term ownership costs.

What Is JCB Machine Care?

JCB Machine Care is an extended warranty and product support package that protects covered components against defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship.

For agricultural customers, it provides:
•    Greater financial certainty
•    Reduced risk of major repair bills
•    Support from authorised JCB engineers
•    Protection tailored to real farming applications

Comprehensive Cover applies from zero clock hours (retail date) for an agreed period of:
•    Up to 5 years from new
•    Up to 10,000 machine hours (model dependent)

Which Agricultural Machines Are Eligible?

JCB Machine Care is available on a wide range of agricultural equipment, including:
•    JCB Fastrac tractors
•    JCB Loadall agricultural telehandlers
•    JCB TM telescopic wheel loaders
•    Selected construction machines used in agricultural applications

JCB Machine Care Comprehensive Cover protects major mechanical and electronic systems, including:

Engine & Powertrain
•    Engine and internal components
•    Turbocharger
•    Fuel injection system
•    Transmission and TCU
•    Axles and final drives

Hydraulic Systems
•    Hydraulic pumps and motors
•    Hydraulic cylinders
•    Main control valve block
•    Hydrostatic drive systems

Electrical & Control Systems
•    Engine ECU
•    Transmission ECU
•    Factory-fitted guidance systems
•    Sensors and wiring harnesses

Steering, Braking & Suspension
•    Steering cylinders and valves
•    ABS and braking assemblies
•    Suspension components (including Fastrac systems)

Cab & Operator Environment
•    Displays and instrumentation
•    Heating and air conditioning systems
•    Control modules

It is important that your intended application and operating environment are declared when arranging cover. Charges and eligibility may vary depending on usage.

If your application changes during the cover period, Scot Agri must be informed.

What Is Not Covered?

JCB Machine Care does not cover:
•    Wear and tear items
•    Tyres and rubber tracks
•    Ground engaging tools
•    Oils, filters and service consumables
•    Cosmetic bodywork and paint
•    Damage caused by misuse, contaminated fuel or neglect

Conditions to Maintain Your Agricultural Extended Warranty

To keep your JCB Machine Care cover valid:
•    The cover must be taken out within 12 months of retail date
•    Servicing must be carried out by an authorised JCB dealer
•    Service intervals must follow the Operator’s Handbook
•    Genuine JCB parts, fluids and lubricants must be used
•    JCB LiveLink must remain active where fitted

Failure to meet these conditions may invalidate the cover.

What To Do If Your Machine Develops a Fault

If a covered component develops a fault:
1.    Stop operating the machine
2.    Contact your local Scot Agri depot
3.    Provide model, serial number, hours and location
Our trained engineers will diagnose and carry out repairs in line with JCB guidelines.

Transferable Protection for Resale Value

If you sell your machine during the cover period, JCB Machine Care may be transferable to the new owner, subject to approval. This can increase resale value and provide reassurance to buyers in the second-hand agricultural market.
