At Scot Agri we are committed to providing you with the highest levels of aftersales service to ensure your machinery is efficient and productive. Our Scot Agri machine Health Check is a visual examination of your machine that will be carried out with every service and call-out.
What does a health check include?
The visual health check will be conducted by one of our highly qualified Service Engineers who will assess the following areas if applicable to your machine:
- Tyre condition
- Headlights
- Brake lights
- Bodywork concerns
What happens next?
Once the inspection is complete, one of our Service team will be in touch to take you through the report and highlight any work that would be beneficial to your machine as well as providing a comprehensive quote. If you decide you want to go ahead with the work, then we will arrange for this to take place at a time that is convenient to you.

It's a visual check carried out by one of our qualified service engineers, covering areas such as tyre condition, headlights, brake lights and bodywork, where applicable to your machine. It's designed to catch anything that needs attention before it becomes a bigger problem.
A health check is a visual once-over rather than a full mechanical service. It doesn't include the hands-on work of a service, such as replacing filters and fluids or carrying out diagnostic checks, but it flags anything our engineer spots so you can decide whether further work is worth booking in.
Yes. The health check itself is free, and you're under no obligation to book any further work. If our engineer finds something worth addressing, you'll get a full explanation and a quote, and it's entirely your decision whether to go ahead.
One of our service team will be in touch to talk you through the report, highlighting anything that would benefit your machine. There's no pressure to act on it straightaway, it's simply there to help you plan.
You'll receive a report covering what was checked and any issues found, along with a comprehensive quote for any recommended work. What you do with that is entirely up to you.
The health check applies to any machine we service or attend on a call-out, across the brands we sell and support, including JCB, Massey Ferguson, Horsch, BvL, Ktwo, KRM, Team, Berthoud, Spearhead and AFT.
The health check isn't booked separately, it's carried out automatically as part of every service or call-out. So if you've multiple machines going through servicing or call-outs across your fleet, each one gets a health check as standard, there's nothing extra to arrange.
Wherever the service or call-out happens, whether that's on-farm or at your local Scot Agri depot, since the health check is carried out as part of that visit rather than as a separate appointment.
There's no need to book it separately, it's included automatically whenever you book a service or call-out with us. So the best time is simply whenever your machine is next due a service, or if you need an engineer out for a call-out.
